Turn the key and open the lid. 2. Prepare the snap trap: Place the scent bait in the designated recess of the snap trap. Set the snap trap. To do this, press down the tensioning lever with both thumbs until it audibly clicks into place. Place the set trap in the station. 3. Securely position the station: Close the lid and remove the key. Position the station so that it is inaccessible to children, pets, and wild animals. Align the exit holes parallel to the wall. 4. Check the trap: The trigger indicator is located in the center of the trap lid. When the trap is set, the yellow lever of the snap trap is visible there. When the trap is triggered, the lever folds down and is no longer visible. 5. Remove the captured mouse: Press down the tensioning lever to release the mouse from the trap without touching it. 6. Cleaning the trap: Rinse the trap thoroughly with warm water.
