This single-mode red light flashlight is designed for nighttime activities. The human eye is highly sensitive to red light, and many animals are less startled by red illumination, making it useful for observing wildlife in low-light conditions. Powered by one 1.5V AA battery or compatible rechargeable AA-sized battery (maximum voltage 4V), the flashlight's brightness increases with higher voltage input. Increased brightness may generate more heat on the flashlight body. Users should select the battery type according to their desired brightness level.
