Fits virtually all vacuum sealers and most models of hand and impulse heat sealers. Replaces deteriorated or burnt-out PTFE tape, which acts as a crucial barrier between the heating elements and the bag. Worn tape can cause poor sealing and may damage the heating element or sealer. The tape may be slightly wider and longer than necessary to ensure broad compatibility. Replace the tape when it appears worn, discolored, or if sealing performance is compromised. Simply peel the tape from the roll and apply it to the designated area (clean the surface before applying the new tape). Position over the wire for vacuum sealers and under the wire for impulse sealers. Compared to standard tape, this PTFE tape offers superior resistance to heat and cold. It provides excellent electrical insulation for high voltage applications, is chemically inert to most chemicals, solvents, and reagents, and resists degradation from light, oxygen, wear, and corrosion.
