Depending on water quality and frequency of use, the shower filter should be replaced after 4-8 months of use or after 10,000-12,000 gallons of water. WIDE COMPATIBILITY : The shower filter has universal 1/2 inch connections that easily and securely connect to a standard fixed, overhead, hand or combo shower head, etc. EASY TO INSTALL: Unscrew and tighten. No complex tools are needed at all: just open the shower filter housing, remove the old and replace the new filter, and make sure the washer is located in the slot at the inside the filter to prevent leaks.
