LaunchPad now includes support for the latest and G2xx Value Line devices. The MSP-EXP430G2 LaunchPad is an easy-to-use flash programmer and debugger that provides everything you need to develop on MSP430 Value Line devices. It provides a 14/20-pin DIP socket target board with integrated emulation capabilities to quickly program and debug the MSP430 Value Line device in-system via the Bi-Wire (2-wire JTAG) protocol. Because MSP430 Flash memory is extremely low power, the Flash memory can be erased and programmed in seconds without an external power supply. The LaunchPad connects the MSP430 device to an integrated software environment such as Code Composer Studio Version 4 or IAR Embedded Workbench. These IDEs are free and unrestricted software on MSP430 Value Line devices. The LaunchPad supports all MSP430G2xx Flash devices in 14- or 20-pin DIP packages (TI package code: N). The LaunchPad also features on-board programmable LEDs and buttons for custom projects and applications! A 10-pin PCB connector can also be used to connect the LaunchPad and additional devices.
