CD74HC4067 16-Channel Analog/Digital Multiplexer/Demultiplexer board. Features the CD74HC4067 16-channel analog signal switch. Analog signal input: C0-C15 (16 channels). Analog output: DIG. Channel control: S0-S3. Compatible with both digital and analog signals (signal voltage must not exceed VCC). Connections are bidirectional. For two-way communication, a second board can be added to route a microcontroller's TX line to 16 device RX lines. Multiple boards can be used for applications involving I2C, SPI, and other protocols. Internal switches are bidirectional and support voltages from ground to VCC. They feature low "on" resistance, low "off" leakage, and utilize "break-before-make" switching to prevent crosstalk. The board includes access to the chip's "enable" pin; when set high, it disconnects the common pin (all switches off). Control the device using digital outputs connected to the address select pins (S0-S3). Send the binary address of the desired channel to select it. This allows up to 16 sensors to be connected using only 5 microcontroller pins. The multiplexer/demultiplexer also supports digital signals, enabling TTL-level serial data routing to or from multiple devices. For example, connect the TX pins of 16 devices to one RX pin on a microcontroller and select which device to monitor.
