The pinout is compatible with Wiznet's official module WIZ820io. -ES1 embeds Wiznet's W5500 chip, which uses hardware logic to implement the transport and network layers of the IP protocol stack, including TCP, UDP, ICMP, IPv4, IGMP, and PPPoE. It integrates data link and physical layers, and features 32K bytes of on-chip RAM for data transmit and receive buffers. This design allows the host microcontroller to focus only on IP application layer tasks, significantly reducing the host's workload for data copying, protocol processing, and interrupt handling, thereby improving system efficiency and reliability.
