This is the ultimate V gouge parting tool from Michihamono, a popular company known for their quality woodcarving products. This premium tool comes with a sharp angled blade that's ready for the wood. Use this fantastic chisel to make deep cuts and divide sections of wood. This tool is also useful for flawlessly carving grooves or accessing hard to reach places. The tang and bolster are from the same piece of high quality steel, which means that this tool is durable and recommended for heavy duty carving.Hold the hard wood handle in one hand and apply pressure using a soft mallet with the other. Comes with a metal hoop at the end of the handle. This is to assist the tool and prevent injuries from the mallet. This circular ring also gives the carver maximum control when working. This superb tool is a great addition to any carver's toolbox.
