Description/Features: [Calibration Steps]To calibrate, aim the telescope at a daytime object using the low power eyepiece (20mm). Then, observe the same object through the starfinder's eyepiece. Without altering the position of the main telescope, adjust the starfinder's alignment screws on the bracket until the object is centered in the starfinder's crosshair. [Usage]The finder scope serves as a secondary scope to assist in locating celestial objects in the main telescope. It features 3 thumb screws for XY positioning and alignment. [5x24 Finder Scope for Astronomical Telescopes]This finder scope offers a 5x24 low power magnification, ideal for initially locating objects to be observed with a more powerful main telescope. It is fixed to the body of the main telescope and aligned in the same direction. [Easy to Install]The finder scope comes with a mounting bracket that fits any telescope optical tubes. The bracket has a curved base with two holes for attachment using bolts or screws. It is designed to ensure stability and will not slide into a dovetail base.
